Green Tech 2017 concludes

The Spring 2017 session "Green Technology - What will it take?" was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation to promote K12 STEM education in the field of environmental technology.

The course brought together 15 students from four Boston area public schools: Boston Latin School, the John D. O'Bryant School of Math and Science, Arlington High School and Somerville High School.  The students met for 8 class sessions at MIT to learn about the science, and the politics, of "green technology," culminating in a project fair where four groups of students shared their own tech and policy recommendations for addressing a particular climate change challenge they chose. The students presented to a panel of MIT professors and graduate students, entrepreneurs, and a representative from the Sierra Club.

We'll hope you'll want to join us next year!
